Through in depth analysis of your family history, personal history and genetic analysis, we will determine a comprehensive and personalized plan for cancer screening.
Personalized screening plan
After analysis of your risk, we will discuss the best plan for cancer screening. For some, this will mean earlier traditional screening methods such as colonoscopy and mammography, for others with very high cancer risk, this may mean screening with MRIs and liquid biopsies. The importance is this is not a one size fits all plan. Our goal is to provide you the most appropriate plan for early detection.

This is a frequent question. It seems that if everyone just got screened for all types of cancer we could prevent everyone from having later stages. Unfortunately, it is not that simple. First, there are not screening tests for every type of cancer. Many people think of cancer as one disease but in reality, it is a disease of numerous different cell types and organ systems that all have different way in functioning and manifesting cancer. Second, my screening people aggressively who have very low liklihood of having cancer, we run the risk of having false positive findings. Meaning, something saying cancer may be present when it really isn’t. This can lead to many more tests and procedures to ultimately determine that something is or isn’t cancer. This exposes people to the risk of increased cost, more procedures that carry risk in and of themselves and high emotional cost awaiting results.
